Wallace Injury Extent Still Unknown
Assistant manager John McMahon has said that the full extent of the injury sustained by midfielder James Wallace in the game against Swindon.
Wallace had to be substituted in the game in midweek after only 42 minutes, and it was a recurrence of the problem he first picked up in the game against Notts County.
Speaking to the Official Site very briefly about the injury following the game, the gaffer explained.
'It's the same injury as the other day. That's what we've got at the minute. James is putting his body on the line and with fatigue and him just coming back from injury the likelihood is something will happen and unfortunately for James and us it does. I don't know how long he'll be out for.'
McMahon goes on to say that with hindsight he really should've rest Wallace for that game and Gregg is upset that he didn't pull him, but it's one of those things where Wallace gives what he does to the team and we have nobody else like that so it always forces your hand and hindsight can be a very beautiful thing indeed.
Hopefully it won't be too bad though as we'll certainly miss him if he's not available, or worst still, this now keep him out for the remainder of the season.
