Akpo Sodje Leaves On Loan

Akpo Sodje Leaves On Loan

Striker Akpo Sodje has left Tranmere to join up with his brother Efe at Macclesfield Town.

The 34 year old joined us in the summer and has so far made 11 appearances for the club.

Now in charge of first team affairs during the suspension of manager Ronnie Moore, assistant gaffer John McMahon explained that Akpo really needed to get a run of games under his belt and that this loan opportunity should give him that.

Moving to Macclesfield should see him settle in relatively quickly because his brother Efe is actually on the coaching staff of the club, so McMahon wishes him the best for the next month.
