Ridehalgh A Doubt
Manager Ronnie Moore has said that Liam Ridehalgh is a serious doubt for our game this weekend against Crewe Alexandra.
The left back was substituted at half time in the game against Peterborough last weekend after having picked up a groin injury during the first half.
It's likely he won't return in time for the match on Saturday, but Ronnie does have better news when it comes to Danny Holmes and Ian Goodison who are both nearing a return now.
Speaking to the Official Site about our injury situation, the gaffer explained.
'Liam has a groin strain and it's bruised already. We've just got to wait and see but at the present time we're probably looking at a fortnight.'
As for Holmes, he says that he has had a stiff back but he thinks he'll be okay for this weekend as he's expected to return to full training on Thursday, and if he comes through that okay, he will be in contention for the weekend.
Goodison has returned to training and did two sessions with the team last week, and he's also expected to train on Thursday, and again if he comes through that without issue he'll at least be ready for a place on the bench, if not more.
