A Number Near Return

John McMahon has said that a number of players could be back in contention for our next match.

McMahon told the official site that James Wallace would play 40-45 minutes in an in house game that was due to take place today against the scholars as he continues his return from a knee injury sustained last December and following that he'll then train normally for the remainder of the week and they'll look at another game for him next week as he's progressing well so far.

Andy Robinson's hernia injury is coming along nicely and he's continuing with his programme, McMahon jokes you know he's ok when he's 'moaning'.

Akpo Sodje is also back in full training now so he'll train as normal ahead of our next match.

In another interview McMahon also praised striker Ryan Lowe saying that his experience is absolutely key to his current goal scoring form - five goals in the last six - and he says along with his experience, and even at the age of 35, he's just a naturally fit lad and it's showing on the pitch in games.

Clearly he hopes that when our other walking wounded return properly and hit their own form, our season will definitely improve.
