Dugdale Returns To Crewe

Adam Dugdale has now completed his initial months loan at Tranmere Rovers and has return to his parent club.

Ronnie Moore wanted to extend the defenders loan spell and had discussions with Crewe Alexandra to that effect, but unfortunately our hand has been tipped as Crewe defender Harry Davis suffered an injury last Saturday and his parent club have insisted on recalling the player.

Dugdale played give games for Rovers since joining us and he scored one goal against Brentford.

Ronnie Moore doesn't overly mind the decision taken by Crewe because he understands the position they are in, but he admitted it was a desperate blow for us, although that has been somewhat eased with the FA rescinding Liam Ridehalgh's red card.

Maybe we can go back in for him later, failing that Moore will have to delve into the loan market again to provide us with some cover.
