Moore Pleased With Performance

Ronnie Moore has declared himself pleased despite seeing Tranmere go down 2-1 to Burnley.

Speaking to the Official Site following the defeat, Moore said he thought it was a fantastic run out again and he was delighted with the performance the lads put in.

'I think it was a good game. We did a lot of good things but the goals were sloppy. I think the first was a free kick, he's jumped all over Danny but it wasn't givem. But their keeper has made more saves than ours. There was some good passing and movement against a good Championship side and it was a fantastic workout for us.'

Moore says that fitness wise he's pleased where the squad find themselves now after all the hard work so far in pre season, but he does still want to add to the squad and he concedes that he might have to look at the loan market again to give us a bit more depth.
