'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Moore Will Assess Trialists In Friendlies

Ronnie Moore has said he's planning on using a number of trialists in our friendly games against Cammell Laird and Heswell next week.

Speaking to the Official Site Moore explained that only so much can be gained from training because it is a more relaxed feeling, and although friendlies aren't as focused as competitive games, it'll enable him to judge a players potential far better, so he's going to throw them in and see if they swim.

'We're still looking for three or four players. We're having conversations with players and agents and hopefully we'll end up getting the people we want. We've got quite a few trialists in and we'll be taking a look at them in the games next week. Hopefully they'll make the most of their opportunity and give us something to think about.'
