'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Moore Pleased With Prenton Selection

Ronnie Moore has said he's pleased that we have been drawn at home to Mansfield in the Capital One Cup.

Speaking to the Official Site to give his reaction, Moore said he was delighted because you always want home advantage as it gives you the best chance of progressing in the cup competitions.

'Mansfield won't be easy to beat, they'll be full of confidence after winning the Blue Square Premier and they'll want to come here and show what they are capable of. We'll approach the game in the right way, be professional and hopefully earn a place in the second round.'

Moore also said that he was hopeful of adding a player or two to the squad before the end of this week as his plans for next season continue to take shape.
