Stockton Looking To Push On

Cole Stockton has said he's looking forward to returning to pre season training as he wants to push on in his second season as a professional and really make a name for himself.

Last season the youngster made 36 appearances, and found the net six times, and he told the Official Site he knew he had to kick on now.

'I want to push on. It's a big step up to go from playing in the youth team and reserves to playing for the first team. The opposition are bigger, stronger, the game is faster and more intense. But I've got the first season behind me now and I think I will benefit from it.'

He says that now he knows what to expect from the league and opposition players, it should leave him better placed to train on his weaknesses and make the improvements that he needs to to become a real player at this level.
