The Season In Loans

The system, as is usual for clubs in League 1, played an important part in our season, and here's how the temporary Tranmere players fared.

Rovers brought in 11 players on loan during the campaign, and the club thanks them for their efforts.

Jake Cassidy - Wolves

Made 28 appearances for the club, finding the net 11 times. He won the Player of the Month Award for September and was called into the Welsh U21 side during his spell with us.

Luke Palmer - Sheffield Wednesday

The midfielder played 46 times for the club, spending more minutes on the pitch than only four other players.

Ben Gibson - Middlesbrough

His 33 appearances for the club helped him earn a new four year deal at his parent club.

Roman Golobart - Wigan

Made only one appearance during his time at Prenton Park, but did go on to make his Premier League debut for his parent club.

Nathan Eccleston - Blackpool

He appeared five times before injury cut short his loan spell.

Jake Jervis - Birmingham

Scored on his debut against Bournemouth and made five appearances over all for the club.

Michael O'Halloran - Bolton

Made 25 appearances during his loan spell, finding the net 3 times.

Donervorn Daniels - West Bromwich Albion

The centre back made 14 appearances during his spell at the club, and he found the net once. After returning to his parent club, he has appeared on the bench once for them as an unused substitute.

Paul Corry - Sheffield Wednesday

Made 6 appearances whilst here.

Mamady Sidibe - Stoke City

Made 10 appearances.

Sean McGinty - Manchester United

Turned out 3 times for Rovers.
