Moore Confident On Keeper Stay

Ronnie Moore has said he is now confident that we will be able to keep Owain fon Williams and tie him to a new contract at the club.

After previously admitting that he knew clubs in the Championship were looking at the out of contract goalkeeper, following discussions with him, Moore has been boosted by news that he wants to stay.

Speaking to the Official Site Moore said.

'I believe we've got a chance with Fonners. He wants to stay so we'll wait and see what happens. I'd love him to be here next season and he said he'd see me on June 24 when we're back so we'll wait and see.'

He adds he believes that the keeper wants the new deal sewn up as quickly as possible.
