'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Moore - I Will Take The Improvements

Ronnie Moore was obviously disappointed with the loss to Preston today, but he felt it was a better team performance and said there are lots of positives he will take from it.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 1-0 defeat, Ronnie said he was 'proud' of the players today following their efforts.

'I'm proud of them today, for the first time in a long time, we looked like the team we have been, you could see out there at points why we were top for so long. How we have lost the game I'll never know. I can't have a go at them, that's the first time in a few weeks we looked like a team but we didn't get the breaks.'

Moore points to the chance Zoom put past the post and then the goal we conceded he called 'naive defending from one person'.

Our striking options still call Ronnie as he also says he wishes he could still play because he'd have bagged at least a brace today, and he desperately knows we need a poacher but it's finding one at the right price.
