MK Dons 3 Tranmere 0

16th March 2013
15:00
Stadium:mk

The slim play off chances that MK Dons have are still alive following an impressive win over former League One leaders Tranmere on Saturday.

Early on MK Dons were ahead when Dean Lewington (9) followed up to head home after Dean Bowditch had hit the bar with a 25-yard stunner.

Tranmere should have been level by the time MK Dons doubled their lead but Mamady Sidibe missed a header from six-yards, with Stephen Gleeson (43) finishing off a fine pass to send MK into the break two-nil up.

Another follow up, when Shaun Williams' freekick had come back off the bar, saw Darren Potter (51) head home to add a third for the hosts shortly after the break.

Tranmere missed another great chance in the second half, however that wouldn't have made much difference in the end with MK Dons running out 3-0 winners.
