Palmer Looking For An Immediate Bounce Back

Ronnie Moore that the first half wasn`t acceptable and cost us the game against Carlisle. See: Ronnie Moore Says First Half Unacceptable

Meanwhile Liam Palmer has told www.tranmererovers.co.uk that the team need to bounce straight back against Leyton Orient at the weekend.

Nothing else the midfielder can say really is there? Tranmere are at the top, they have to ensure they stay there.

He admits that they weren`t playing well even before the sending off and points to the fact they at least showed a bit of fight in the second half.

Same as Ronnie Moore (see: ) he makes no excuses for Akpa Akpro and says he knows he let himself and the team down seeing red. See: Seeing Red Costs Akpa Akpro 3 Match Ban

And looking ahead, he says 'We have to regroup now, stick together and go again. The good thing is other teams lost as well. But it would have been nice to pull away from them. We'll keep plugging on and there's a long way to go yet."

Adding that the team needs to 'bounce back` immediately.

Oh and he says his goal, ruled offside, should have stood!

So, next up, Orient. Time to get back to winning ways.
